About the role   

Vinidex is looking for a 3rd or 4th year student engineer to perform work experience as a 3-month contract. You will support the PVC production teams and the engineering team.

What will you do?

  • Work with the Engineering Processing and Production Teams to commission new production lines including developing concise commissioning plans, documenting material trials, data collection and creating SOPs to support production.

  • Support the engineering team by specifying, quoting and documenting the design of new equipment installations

  • Support the Production team with troubleshooting

  • Commissioning lab equipment

  • Ensure and maintain safe workplace and work practices

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Science related discipline

  • Experience with MS Office and CAD software

  • Practical experience in equipment commissioning and lab work

  • Problem solver with the ability to make decisions and deliver practical solutions

  • Team player that can communicate and collaborate across cross functional teams with all stakeholders.
