Salary: £65,000 - £85,000

Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working? 

You’ll be joining the Kaluza Platform Product community. We’re a group of Product Managers and Leaders focused on translating complex needs into simple and innovative solutions that solve real customer and business problems.  We’re a data-lead team, pushing the boundaries of technology and working at scale. 

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager who can develop and execute on a product strategy across our technology teams. 

What will I be doing?

Our Infrastructure & Event Streaming Platform Teams own the infrastructure at the foundation of Kaluza’s platform.  By providing engineering teams with the platforms and the tools to develop and scale their services confidently, reliably and quickly, we free them up to focus on their business domains.  Ensuring quality & reliability of our platform is critical to Kaluza’s success as we scale in Europe, Australia and beyond.  You’ll be working with our teams to 

• Partner with your product lead to create and execute on the strategy for the Infrastructure and Kafka Platform teams
• Engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the business,  championing the ability of our infrastructure and events streaming platforms to enable client facing value.
• Use metrics and data track progress, measure success and inform decision for  your area
• Utilise and develop user research to help shape the future direction of the sphere
• Work across the department to evolve our ways of working.
• working within the wider product community to champion product best practices
• Coach, mentor and develop the product managers in your squad to help them achieve success.

Is this the job for me?

Ideally you’ll have/be

• An inquisitive mind that's not afraid to ask questions
• Experience working in an internal platform / SRE / Developer Experience space, you don’t need to have been an engineer
• Comfortable having discussions in a technical environment
• Sympathetic to user needs but laser focused on how an outcome delivers business benefit.
• Continuous discovery - Embedding user research throughout the product lifecycle, steering a course to build the best product
• Data informed - familiar with using quantitative data to track success 
• Experience engaging with a variety of stakeholders challenging their assumptions and taking them on a journey
• Capable of bringing new insights to life, demonstrating potential, creating awareness, building advocacy and ultimately driving large scale adoption
• Be passionate about using technology to enable carbon reduction
