Job Description
As an Indirect Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing categories of non-production related spend. This role requires a strategic mindset, with an emphasis on driving cost savings and improving efficiency across various business functions.
- Develop and execute indirect procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and service levels across assigned categories.
- Perform market research to understand industry trends, identify potential suppliers, and assess supplier capabilities.
- Lead the supplier selection process, including conducting RFPs, RFQs, and supplier negotiations.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, contract management, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement procurement best practices.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to implement sourcing strategies and supplier transitions.
- Provide regular reports on category performance, including savings, supplier performance, and market trends.
- Continuously improve procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
