The Marketing Specialist will report to a Sr. Manager on the Commodities program marketing team. This person will play a crucial role in helping the team achieve its Commodities commercial targets. They will be focused on delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and new business, while supporting customer cross-sell.
To be successful in this role, you will enjoy working as part of a team, have strong attention to detail, and have excellent English communication skills. You must be comfortable following processes but also working in ambiguity and in a changing environment. We are looking for someone who demonstrates a keenness to develop their B2B marketing practice.
Main Responsibilities
- Build and execute high-quality multi-channel campaign tactics, working closely with colleagues across the global marketing team
- Channels and activities will include: social media (paid and organic), SEO/SEM, digital advertising, third-party partnerships, email, events and webinars, web page creation, prospect and competitor research, campaign analytics, and more
- Write, adapt, and deliver marketing content for use across marketing channels/activities
- Effectively work with senior marketing leaders to continuously analyze and evaluate marketing campaigns, making pivots and adjustments to improve performance and deliver on KPIs – track, analyze, and optimize continuously!
- Work collaboratively with the global marketing team (digital, content, creative, product marketing, PR, and more) to maximize the reach and performance of campaign activities and to share best practices
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Research, and Consulting teams) to build audiences and content
- Build and research audiences in identified target segments using Salesforce/Pardot.
About You
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent vocational training/marketing certification
- Between 3-7 years professional marketing experience; experience in B2B marketing and the energy sector is highly preferred
- Excellent business English verbal and written communication skills, showcasing story-telling and creative thinking across mediums (visual, written)
- Must be commercially oriented and use performance data to drive decision-making
- Must love collaborating across global teams and should possess a positive, solutions-orientated attitude and demeanor
- Executes marketing tactics with understanding, accuracy and timeliness; can manage own workload with multiple priorities and self-motivate, with exceptional attention to detail
- Passionate about learning and development, with a keen interest in building your marketing skills and growing yourself professionally; employs a continuous learning mindset to advance skills and drive impact
- Strong customer-first mentality, both internal and external
- Tech-friendly; some experience with Martech (ideally, have some experience using Salesforce and Pardot) and digital marketing practices and channels (Google Analytics, SEO, PPC, and social media)
Expectations
- We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.
- Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
