Climate X is a purpose-driven climate adaptation data company set to revolutionise how the world manages assets, property, and infrastructure. 

We apply cutting-edge, peer-reviewed science to help prevent the worst impacts of climate change. We combine climate projections, remote sensing observations, and modelling to project the frequency and severity of physical climate risks such as floods, subsidence, storms, etc.

Our SaaS platform lets financial institutions and real estate firms look at future climate pathways to:

  • help identify how property/company assets could be damaged by severe weather events and
  • what that damage might do to the asset valuations.
  • become more resilient to climate change and make smarter investment and lending decisions.

The impact you’ll own

You will lead our global partnerships strategy, driving the growth and success of Climate X through identifying, building, and managing strategic alliances. This includes partner sourcing, onboarding, enablement, and fostering long-term relationships to accelerate our market presence and impact.

 

You will evaluate and manage key technology partnerships, define joint value propositions, and develop a partnerships go-to-market strategy, across data consulting partnerships, integrated solutions partnerships, enterprise strategic partnerships, and client transformation partnerships.

 

Essential Skills

  • Strong experience in partnerships with a demonstrated ability to build and nurture executive-level relationships with partners, driving collaboration and commitment within SaaS.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue/pipeline and new logo growth through strategic partnerships, including data, integrated solutions, enterprise, and client transformation partners.
  • Strong track record of cultivating and maintaining partnerships with consultancy partners (e.g. big 4 consulting firms) and technology alliances (e.g. AWS).
  • Experience in developing and executing joint value propositions and partnerships GTM strategies.

 

Desirable Skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Deep understanding of the SaaS industry, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify valuable partners.
  • A deep understanding of the SaaS business model, including the technical architecture, APIs, and integration points that can enable partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to structure partnership agreements, contracts, and commercial terms that are favourable for both parties.
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments (sales, product, marketing, legal, finance) to execute partnership plans.
  • Ability to juggle multiple partnership initiatives at different stages (negotiation, launch, ongoing management) simultaneously.
  • Writing partnership proposals, contracts, and presentations with clear and structured communication.
  • Experience using Hubspot is desirable.

Compensation

Salary up to £70,000 per year with £20,000 variable. Making £90,000 OTE
Share options, earned at the beginning of employment and each year through performance reviews
