As we continue our expansion across Europe, we're looking for a talented and driven Product Manager to join our EU OE Engineering team, focusing on supporting the growth of Octopus Energy France. If you’re excited about building world-class products that contribute to a low-carbon future, this is the role for you.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: You’ll gather requirements and translate them into tasks for developers, ensuring smooth collaboration with designers, developers, and stakeholding teams within OE France.
- Manage and prioritise needs: Work closely with our France focused team and EU Engineering to align local requirements with broader regional strategies. You’ll help scope out new features, plan iterations and drive product development that maximises customer value.
- Drive innovation: Think strategically about client-facing tools, helping empower users through self-service features and continuously improving their experience.
- Own the process: From gathering feedback to reporting on project progress, you’ll be responsible for the full product lifecycle, driving high-impact initiatives that support our mission.
- Adapt and solve problems: In a fast-paced environment, you’ll be expected to make quick decisions, recognizing what needs attention now and what can wait, while ensuring long-term success.
What you’ll bring:
- Passion for customers: You care deeply about delivering exceptional experiences to endusers and are driven to make a positive impact on their lives.
- Communication excellence: You’re a natural communicator, able to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. Fluency in english is required, and French language skills are a strong plus.
- Strategic and hands-on thinking: Whether it's working on a high-level product strategy or rolling up your sleeves to execute a feature, you’re adaptable and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Technological curiosity: While deep technical knowledge isn’t essential, familiarity with development processes and tools like Asana, Notion, Miro, and Figma will help you to hit the ground running.
- Multi-tasking master: You can juggle multiple priorities, switch contexts quickly, and make decisions efficiently while keeping an empathetic, team-focused approach.
- Energy sector insight: While not mandatory, prior experience in the french energy industry would be a great advantage.
