Hitachi Energy is seeking for an Electrical Test Engineer for its Crystal Springs, MS Location.
Your Responsibilities:
Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as analysis, design, development, test, installation and service, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.
Prepare specifications and related documents in accordance with requirements, established formats and general instructions. Review and analyze a variety of engineering data, documents and reports.
Consult with other engineering groups to ensure that specified engineering criteria are suitable for the proposed application, and recommend revisions, as appropriate.
Plan, conduct or coordinate relatively straight-forward engineering analyses and tests, and prepare related reports and summaries, for review.
Participate in the investigation of technical problems and the establishment of procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrences.
Complexity of Tasks: Duties require thorough understanding of standard engineering theories, concepts, principles and techniques. Work is subject to general overview to ensure quality.

Your Background
Bachelor's Degree in electrical or Electronics engineering and 2 to 5 years of experience.
Additional Job Description
Knowledge of industry standards - IEEE, IEC, NEMA
Experience working with Microsoft Office and compiling technical reports.
Initiative, creativity, and great attention to detail.
Create test plans giving support to the Engineer and Test Team.
Receive and compile transformer electrical test data into a report template.
Support basic transformer testing such as winding resistance, turns ratio, excitation, power factor, Losses.
Archive test reports and test data to managing software and Server.
Provide technical support to technicians.
Transformers and High Voltage background is a plus.
Be able to perform Tests Low Power, High Power, and High Voltage.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
