As a Concrete Specimen Pickup Driver (CPU Driver), you will be responsible for collecting concrete samples from construction sites or concrete production facilities for testing purposes. The driver works for our testing laboratory and is the Face to the contractors on site.
Job Responsibilities
- Driving to construction sites or production facilities to collect concrete samples, properly labeling and storing the samples to maintain their integrity and delivering the samples to the testing laboratory in a timely manner.
- Responsible for completing reports related to the collection and delivery of the samples
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in construction or transportation.
- Ability to drive a truck of a larger caliber than a regular pickup truck, F450 to F500 Ford flat bed with a load of 4 to 6 thousand pounds.
- Odd work hours
- Lifting 80 lbs. over their waist several times a day.
- Loading and unloading 3000 to 6000 lbs. twice a day.
