The Role:
As a Frontend Software Developer Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping the frontend architecture and driving the development of our cutting-edge e-mobility platform. You’ll work closely with a talented team of frontend developers, designers, and product managers to create exceptional user experiences that empower EV drivers and partners globally.
Reporting to one of our Engineering Managers, you will take the lead in refining our frontend development processes, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and top-tier performance. You will play a key part in evolving our platform while fostering a culture of excellence across the engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and Lead Development: Shape the architecture of our frontend codebase, aligning it with our microservices-based backend to create a cohesive, high-performance product.
- Collaboration: Partner with our Product Design Lead to establish efficient, collaborative workflows between Design and Engineering, ensuring seamless integration of design into the development process.
- Build & Innovate: Develop high-quality, high-performance web and native applications that deliver world-class user experiences.
- Best Practices Champion: Set and enforce coding standards, testing protocols, and deployment strategies to ensure our frontend codebase is robust and maintainable.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize application performance to ensure scalability and a top-notch user experience.
- Accessibility: Ensure our applications meet accessibility standards, making them usable for everyone.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor frontend developers, fostering growth and maintaining collaborative, high-performing teams.
- Drive Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by exploring new technologies and methodologies, bringing fresh ideas to elevate our frontend capabilities.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Implement automated testing frameworks and maintain high test coverage to ensure the reliability and scalability of our products.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and component-based design.
- Experience with cloud deployment and integration with backend services (REST APIs, GraphQL, etc.).
- Proficient in CI/CD processes, automated testing frameworks, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with mobile app frameworks (React Native, iOS, Android) is a plus.
- Experience in the eMobility industry or managing multiple native white-label apps is a plus.
