Our customers use our modeling software for critical decision-making, from the early-stage siting of power plants to the daily operations of energy storage and renewable projects in wholesale power markets. We have offices in Los Angeles, Oakland, and remote team members across the US.
 

The role

We are seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to help scale our go-to-market (GTM) and unlock the next phase of growth for Tyba. You will own the customer acquisition strategy for a curated list of energy storage operators, and execute highly personalized campaigns to engage them with the right message, through the right channel, at the right time. This is a unique opportunity to build a function from the ground up. You will bring experience in demand generation and Account Based Marketing (ABM) to define how we win with key accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • ABM: Develop and execute a research-backed strategy to reach a curated list of high value prospects. You'll identify the best tools, channels, and messaging to create personalized outreach for key decision-makers. ‍

  • Campaign Strategy and Execution: Develop, implement and optimize full funnel marketing campaigns to reach and engage prospective customers.‍

  • Analysis and Optimization: Track key metrics, analyze campaign performance, and optimize outreach to continuously improve engagement and conversion rates.‍

  • Demand Generation: Develop and implement awareness and nurture strategies that showcase Tyba’s expertise, solutions, and success in the clean energy space.‍

  • Content Development: Based on account research, craft compelling content (personalized landing pages, tailored blog posts, guides, emails, etc.) to engage key contacts and showcase Tyba’s solution.‍

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales to ensure you are in lock-step, and executing on a shared account plan.

  • Systems and operations experience: You’ve help own parts of the marketing tech stack and are able to identify the right tools needed for marketing campaigns.‍

Skills and experience:

  • Marketing Experience: 3-5 years of marketing experience, with expertise in ABM, demand generation, and/or B2B growth marketing.‍

  • ABM Expertise: Strong knowledge of ABM strategies, tools, and tactics, with a proven track record of driving engagement and pipeline through targeted outreach.‍

  • Analytical Mindset: You’re data-driven, comfortable setting up tracking, dashboards, and reports to measure and optimize campaign performance.‍

  • Strong Written Communication Skills: You have experience writing for different formats, and get excited to break down complex topics, policy changes, or data outputs in a way that makes them easy-to-understand. ‍

  • Action-Oriented: You are willing to get in the weeds writing content, doing account research, configuring outbound campaigns, and more. ‍

  • Industry Experience (Bonus): Experience in the energy sector or working in a B2B marketing environment with a strong sales-led growth model is a plus!

Compensation and Benefits:

  • ‍Salary: $110K-$140K, depending on experience and qualifications.
