YOUR MISSION:
We're looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team and help develop exciting projects and innovative products - designed for integration into the ISS and future space stations.
If you not only understand technology but also see the bigger picture, you're in the right place! Your role will involve requirement analysis, technical solution development, and seamless system integration. You'll also handle project documentation, interact with customers, and support test campaigns.
Ideally, you have experience with NASA and ESA standards and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset are just as important to us as your technical expertise.
YOUR TASKS:
- Responsible for all the internal and external interfaces of the project.
- Technical responsibility for the project
- Elaborate system documents and reports.
- Definition of (Test) Procedures
- Participate on test campaigns.
- Control requirements and support the team during design decisions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Interface with clients and suppliers.
- Perform analysis and technical problem solving.
- Evaluate system reliability.
- System architecture definition.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best performance for the overall system.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience in related fields.
- Experience in space systems.
- Ideally background in electrical engineering.
- Familiarity with space standards, especially ECSS and SSP.
- Skilled in using MS Office.
- Strong team player.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Comfortable taking on responsibility.
- Adaptable to high levels of uncertainty.
- Practical mindset with a focus on execution.
- Low ego and empathetic toward colleagues.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Ideally, proficiency in German is a plus.
