About The Role & Team Culture

We are excited to add a Senior Associate, Project Finance to our Execution Services Group. This is a newly created position reporting to our Senior Manager, Structured Finance & Transactions. This role is ideal for someone excited to join an entrepreneurial company working on a product with the potential to vastly improve workflows and processes to achieve efficiency, speed and cost-effective methods. This role will be an integral team player for the financing of renewable energy projects, working closely with the customer (e.g., investor, owner operator) on due diligence, compliance and execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Focus on technical responsibilities (developing, maintaining, coordinating and reviewing financing documentation, compliance, covenants, and models), making up about 60% of the role.
  • Serve as a financing subject matter expert (SME), providing education, guidance, and insights to peers and stakeholders, representing about 20% of your time.
  • Take part in various cross-functional projects outside of core financing tasks, primarily handling project management responsibilities (for example, review engineering reports), which comprises 20% of this role.
  • Responsible for managing day-to-day contributions to Euclid’s services related to financing, capex, and opex, management of depository funds and accounts including updates to financial compliance and covenant tracking tools, models and cash flows.
  • Act as a key member of the services team, collaborating closely with colleagues of diverse skillsets and expertise to ensure cohesive project outcomes.
  • Work closely with investors, attorneys, advisors and lenders amongst others.
  • Embrace adaptability and flexibility, with a readiness to assist beyond core tasks when needed to support team success. Must be comfortable with change.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in renewable energy project finance and/or tax equity structuring for a developer, investor, lender, advisor or comparable experience
  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative skills
  • Knowledge of financing due diligence process
  • Working knowledge of Tax Equity, Transferability, and Debt Financing
  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined approach to solving problems
  • Must be a team player willing to step out of comfort zone and remain adaptable.

The base salary range for this role is $140,000-$165,000 with an equity award as part of your all-in compensation. The actual base salary and equity is dependent upon many factors, such as education, experience, skills, and internal compensation equity. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity and benefits.
