What you’ll do: 

Innovation in investment stewardship

  • Partner with product team on building out new features related to shareholder engagement 
  • Partner with the sustainability research & data team to build out a model to use data and research to identify opportunities for proactive resolution opportunities and other corporate engagement initiatives

Client partnerships

  • Work with our clients on engagement initiatives, especially our institutional partners and family office clients
  • Identify prospective clients interested in more impactful engagement work & build community around the work, both within investment management and among other organizations with aligned missions
  • Manage partnerships with proactive resolution generation partners through the resolution lifecycle
  • Shape the client experience around participating in and sponsoring resolutions 

Storytelling & Content

  • Lead research on effectiveness of different types of engagements using Ethic’s sustainability data 
  • Identify opportunities for storytelling around engagement and work with the studio team to amplify high impact proxy votes or engagements Ethic’s clients are participating in

Roadmap

  • Shape Ethic’s vision for stewardship more broadly & integrate into our revenue models, growth strategy, and product roadmap
  • Deeply understand the regulatory and legislative landscape around engagement in service of setting the direction of Ethic’s stewardship function

What you’ll bring to the table: 

  • 5-10+ years of experience in shareholder engagement work
  • Experience with building out an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong ability to work with data to generate insights
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory landscape and emerging trends around asset management as it relates to corporate engagement

Compensation & Benefits: 

Compensation at Ethic is a combination of base salary, equity (stock options) in the company, and benefits. 

The base salary for this role will range from $165,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
