The Application Development Team:
The IS Application Development Team is comprised of software developers, analysts, testers, and trainers who provide enterprise software solutions in support of W&C’s internal business processes (Finance, HR, Project Consulting, Plant Operations, and Marketing). We build software solutions that focus on process efficiency, data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility.
Our current methodology is informal and agile-inspired, with emphasis on collaboration and user feedback. We are a small team and there are times when we assign tasks that may fall outside an individual’s area of expertise to balance the workload. Furthermore, we have a strong work ethic and are committed to work/life balance.
Who we are looking for:
We will soon be transitioning our current ERP to aec360 leveraging Microsoft Dynamics. We are seeking a talented Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Project Operations System Administrator to assist our team with the implementation as well as long-term support. The D365 Sys Admin will ensure system integrity so that our systems run efficiently, support end users to enhance their user experience, and facilitate data management and reporting to support our financial and project processes to align with our business goals.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have strong analysis and communication skills, dedicated to empowering our organization to achieve its goals. To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, naturally curious, and open to new approaches. They will possess strong technical skills, have a background in financial or project management systems, have a customer-focused mindset, and a commitment to improving organizational efficiency. They must enjoy the challenge of problem-solving and supporting end users.

What you will be doing at Woodard & Curran:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Projects Operations systems, including configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in developing and implementing security protocols and compliance measures.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings to prevent unauthorized access and potential data breaches.
- Ensure the ERP system adheres to industry regulations, data protection laws, and internal governance policies.
- Manage integrations with other systems and ensure data integrity across platforms.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations with other software applications.
- Participate in system audits and assist with data migration projects as needed.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configuration, processes, and troubleshooting procedures, to assist in knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
- Stay current with the latest ERP features, industry trends, and best practices, and provide implementation recommendations to enhance overall capabilities.
- Manage ERP vendor relationship, including contract compliance, licensing, and management of the SLA.
- Create and facilitate training sessions and workshops for end-users to enhance their understanding of the ERP system and promote efficient system utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in analysis and design sessions to understand and translate end-users’ business requirements into system enhancements.
- Provide technical and functional end-user support, including troubleshooting errors, resolving access permissions, and guiding users on system usage.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a D365 F&O or D365 Projects Operations System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of finance, project management, and resource allocation.
- Extensive experience with customer support, including a ticketing system such as DevOps or Jira.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative team environment (asks questions, eager participant in everyday discussions, shares necessary information, is an active listener).
- Effective task and time management skills.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles.
- Comfortable with collaborating in a virtual or hybrid environment (online video conference calls).
