Full time role
Hybrid · Remote · Los Angeles, CA, US... more

Our mission is to move humanity off of fossil fuel heating. 20% of US global warming emissions come from homes (that's more than cars!). The largest driver of home emissions is burning fossil fuels for heat. To stop climate change, over 80M US homes need to transition from combustion to efficient, electric heat pumps over the coming decades.

We believe for this to happen the world needs fantastic products that are easy and desirable to purchase. Today's heat pumps lack great design, make limited use of software, and are difficult and stressful to adopt. We are building a next generation, beautifully designed, AI optimized home heating and cooling system that is 10x better than what is on the market today. And we are making it easy to purchase and adopt by managing all sales, rebates, permitting and installation for our customers.

Role

As a Quilt Advisor, you will be the trusted guide to homeowners considering bringing Quilt's heating and cooling system into their homes. You will work directly with potential customers to educate them on the benefits of Quilt, consult on how Quilt can meet their home heating and cooling needs, create proposals to explain how and where Quilt will be installed and run a successful hand-off with our operations teams to ensure the installation goes smoothly. This consultative and customer experience-oriented field sales role requires HVAC or residential construction experience. Quilt Advisors will be the primary guide for homeowners throughout their purchase journey, guiding them through a significant purchase decision for their home.

You’ll work directly with customers, spending about half of your time meeting in-person in their homes to understand and advise whether or not Quilt can meet their needs and where we could potentially install their system. You will also be instrumental in providing company feedback helping build the playbooks and processes to scale the best customer experience possible. The ideal candidate has residential construction (HVAC ideally) sales experience, a track record of success (happy customers and high achievement) in field sales, and is obsessed with ensuring customers have an incredibly positive experience.

This is an opportunity to help homeowners make their homes more comfortable, beautiful, electrified, and efficient. Customers are at the heart of everything we do, and Quilt Advisors will directly ensure our customers have an incredible experience.
