Role Description

Form Energy is looking for hands-on manufacturing associates to help us develop our core technology by contributing to our Manufacturing Operations organization. You will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and assembling products with newly developed processes and technology as we prepare for our factory launch in 2024. This role is based in Weirton, WV at our Form Factory 1 facility.

What you'll do:

  • Inspect, organize and prepare raw material, components and hardware  

  • Operate manufacturing equipment as assigned and trained per work instructions and in accordance with all safety standards.

  • Optimize production output by ensuring timely reporting of downtime (block, starved, or breakdown), quality (rework or scrap), and cycle-time (deviation from the standard).

  • Work with the technical team to troubleshoot processing issues

  • Update productivity records, shift updates, maintenance logs, and pre/post shift checklists as needed using the established tools or software

  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace per 5s standards 

  • Continuously improve processes and suggest modifications to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.

What you'll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing production environment; chemical handling is a plus

  • Experience operating small to medium sized manufacturing equipment

  • Experience with good general manufacturing practices (GMPs)

  • Solid communication skills within a group of peers and broader organization

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 

  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
