Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to join our newly established finance team in Gurugram, India. This hybrid role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual, available to work on-site at least two days per week, in line with company policy. You will play a key role in the month-end accounting process, supporting external audits, and preparing financial statements, with a focus on maintaining robust accounting controls and processes. The Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Controller for our India office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general accounting activities as part of the month-end closing process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support external audit processes, ensuring that all audit requests are completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure adherence to accounting controls, policies, and processes, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business operations.
- Utilize Oracle Fusion ERP for accounting tasks (prior experience in Oracle Fusion ERP is helpful but not required).
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, or equivalent), including newly qualified.
- Experience: Prior experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably within a multinational or fast-paced environment.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and month-end processes.
- Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audit processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion ERP or similar ERP systems is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with global teams.
Working Arrangement:
This role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days per week in the Gurugram office, with flexibility for remote work the remainder of the week.
