We achieve this by developing and manufacturing the best ultracapacitors on the market.For our production facility in Varkaus, we are currently looking for a: People Operations &amp; Office Specialist You will act as a strategic People partner for our Finnish operations, based across our Varkaus and Lappeenranta offices, while also being the first point of contact for employees and visitors and keeping day-to-day office life running smoothly. You'll manage the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding through performance, development, and offboarding — and ensure our People processes are compliant, well-documented, and genuinely support employee satisfaction and wellbeing.Within your position you will be dealing with the following topics:<ul><li> Office Administration: </li></ul>Oversee daily office operations, manage supplies and assets, track expenses, and coordinate events and wellness programs.<ul><li> People Operations:</li></ul> Maintain HR data and documentation, ensure payroll compliance, support performance tracking, and coordinate onboarding/offboarding.<ul><li> Employee Relations: </li></ul>Guide on labor law, foster engagement, support recruitment, lead satisfaction initiatives, and manage healthcare coordination.<ul><li> Recruitment: </li></ul>Conduct recruitment projects, enhance hiring experience, support employer branding, and build talent pipelines.<ul><li> Policy Compliance: </li></ul>Update HR documents, ensure policy compliance, support process improvements, and report data to authorities.Requirements<ul><li>Studies completed in HR, Business Development or similar subjects.</li><li>3 + years of experience as HR Specialist or Generalist.</li><li>Understanding of Finnish Labour Law &amp; collective agreements compliance.</li><li>Previous working experience with HRIS programs (preferably HiBob).</li><li>Successful recruitment track-record: sourcing, applicant management, selection, interviewing, using ATS systems.</li><li>Team player by heart and nature by creating positive working environment and engaging in a collaborative manner with different stakeholders.</li><li>Independent and resourceful. </li><li>Energetic and self-driven personality.</li><li>Strong communication skills in both written and verbal.</li><li>Fluent in Finnish and English languages.</li></ul>Prior work experience in manufacturing environment in an additional benefit.
