Here at Octopus Energy ECO, we’re responsible for delivering the government mandated eco obligation scheme on behalf of Octopus Energy! We are super passionate about helping customers on low income and benefits to improve the insulation in their homes, to help reduce their bills and carbon emissions 🐙

We are looking for a detail-obsessed, Quality Coordinator to join the ECO team in our Newton Aycliffe office. You will collaborate with the Installations Quality team to plan the work in PASHUB, create a tracker and prioritise tasks for the team, to keep the workflow moving.


What you'll do

  • Collaborate with the Installations Quality team to plan the work in PASHUB and prioritise tasks.
  • Create and maintain a tracker showing what stage customers are at, and the stages to go through to final install.
  • Track pre-approvals via the Installation Assurance Authority (IAA) website and action any queries relating to properties.
  • Assign tasks to the Installation Quality team based on information on the tracker, to keep the workflow moving.
  • Communicate any updates on the progression of customers through the process, to the Installation Quality team.
  • Liaise with other teams where we need any customer or property information relating to eligibility.
  • Thrive in an changing regulatory landscape and communicate these changes in simplistic terms.
  • Report on the tracker information highlighting any issues, good points and trends.
  • Demonstrate Octopus Energy ethos and service.
  • Work holistically with other internal teams.
  • Manage any encountered risk with your team.

What you'll need

  • Have a basic understanding of ECO and GBIS.
  • IT literacy: MS365, Google Workspace, PDF Softwares.
  • An outstanding eye for detail with a drive to provide exceptional administration support.
  • Prior experience in project management or coordination with an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good ability to report information in a clear and simple way.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Flexible team player with a positive, proactive and enthusiastic nature, with a high desire to succeed.
  • Capability to multitask, prioritise and manage own workload to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
