Your Mission

Kayrros energy & commodities data products are used by analysts & traders across commodity trading houses, energy companies, banks, hedge funds to inform trading decisions with fundamental data they can trust.

They leverage a unique technology combining satellite imagery, AI and data fusion to answer Kayrros customer’s pressing needs for supply and demand data that gives them an edge.

As Principal Market Analyst for the EU Gas, Power & Carbon offering, you will play a key role at Kayrros. You will be the face of Kayrros towards customers in the EU Gas, Power and Carbon markets, aiming to continue to grow our presence in these markets and ensuring the products we offer answer their most pressing questions. You will work hand in hand with product managers, sales and marketing, customer success and senior management, bringing your market expertise to fuel strategic decisions.

You will play a key role in growing the team of subject matter experts at Kayrros.

You are a senior market analyst or commodity lead covering the EU Gas, Power or Carbon markets, at a trading house, energy major, utility or hedge fund, with an appetite for data and product management.

Alternatively, you have a background as a market-oriented product manager or commodity owner covering EU Gas, Power or Carbon markets at a data/analytics provider, energy company, consulting firm or financial institution.

You have a passion for the EU Gas, Power or Carbon markets, the energy transition, and applying innovation to solve key problems that EU power/gas/carbon traders and analysts face, helping them making the right investment decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with existing customers and EU Power/Gas/Carbon market participants to solicit product feedback and determine industry trends and pain points to fuel the product roadmap.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to boost lead generation and conversion through attending conferences, crafting and delivering an impactful product pitch, creating use cases, evolving the sales toolkit, engaging with prospects during product trials.
  • Write analysis pieces leveraging the Kayrros data to provide insights to Kayrros customers and fuel the content marketing strategy. Deliver these insights on webinars and at conferences.

Preferred Experience

  • ● You have 5-10+ years of experience as a senior market analyst or commodity lead covering the EU Gas, Power or Carbon markets, at a trading house, energy major, utility or hedge fund, with an appetite for data.
  • ● Alternatively, you have 5-10+ years as a market-oriented product manager or commodity owner covering EU Gas, Power or Carbon markets at a data/analytics provider, energy company, consulting firm or financial institution.
  • ● You are passionate about energy trading and the EU power/gas/carbon markets. You have a deep understanding of at least one of these three markets with an appetite for the other two.
  • ● You have an analytical mindset and can solve problems independently.
  • ● You are interested in how machine learning, artificial intelligence, and satellite technology can bring value to the world’s energy transition journey.
  • ● You are either based in London or Paris.
