Your mission
We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to be at the forefront of change, contributing to Klim’s ability to deliver scalable value to internal and external customers.

You'll be responsible for: 
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data systems, and foundational datasets to support business and product objectives.
  • Ensure high data quality and system reliability through rigorous testing, continuous monitoring, and optimization of data storage solutions and data models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and design appropriate solutions while contributing to long-term data strategy and roadmaps.
  • Perform ad-hoc requests as necessary.

Your profile
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong programming skills with expertise in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with structured and unstructured databases (e.g., Redshift, Postgres) and optimizing data systems.
  • Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines (e.g., Airflow) and workflows (ETL/ELT).
  • Experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) a plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS ecosystem and data tools like DBT.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with version controlling (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Full working proficiency in English. German language skills are a plus.
