Location: London

Salary: £150,000 - £180,000

What will I be doing?

The Director of Enterprise Architecture is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the company's enterprise architecture strategy. This position will lead a team of architects in designing, integrating, and managing complex IT systems and processes to align with the organisation’s business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technology trends, business processes, and the ability to create a cohesive architecture framework that supports innovation, scalability, and agility.

Role responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and drive an enterprise architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead the creation of technology roadmaps, integrating innovative solutions that boost business outcomes.

Architecture Development

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise systems.
  • Establish frameworks, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent and effective delivery.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to translate needs into technical solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on emerging technologies and trends.

Governance & Compliance

  • Implement architectural governance to ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and security standards across IT initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance and oversee governance processes across all projects.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of architects, fostering growth and innovation.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Innovation & Emerging Technologies

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and technologies, assessing their impact on strategic objectives.
  • Champion the adoption of cutting-edge solutions that enhance competitiveness.

Performance Measurement

  • Define and track KPIs for architecture initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Regularly report progress and achievements to senior leadership
