As a Business Analyst Payment Platform, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of electric vehicle charging. In this position, you'll have a significant impact on the strategy and direction of Smappee's payment solutions across all of our products of today and tomorrow. Your challenge involves exploring global markets, fostering strategic partnerships and crafting cutting-edge payment solutions.
Your responsibility lies in ensuring that our B2B and B2C products feature payment solutions that are easy to use, well-crafted, adaptable for international markets, and prepared for the future. You'll be the essential link connecting external partners, R&D, sales, finance and the ever-evolving landscape of international market trends and regulations.
Responsibilities
- You gain insights into the unique requirements of our diverse community of Charge Point Operators (CPOs) who rely on Smappee Products.
- You implement and deploy market-ready solutions that are internationally scalable for streamlined split billing, CPO payments, and efficient payment terminal integration.
- You serve as the primary contact with partners like , e-mobility services providers, Adyen, and other business partners.
- You manage and enhance Ayden payment platform, including integrations of payment solutions, including SaaS payments, invoicing, reconciliation, and payout processes for charge point operators (CPOs) and e-mobility services providers.
- You drive further integration projects leveraging the Adyen platform, effectively managing multiple parallel initiatives and maintaining strong communication with Adyen and their business partners.
- You define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and the roadmap based on market demand and customer feedback, working closely with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Finance, and Service Desk to address inquiries and drive operational efficiency.
- You build strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers to gather insights and feedback for continuous product improvement.
- You guarantee that product pricing and costs align with market demands while meeting the company's margin targets.
- You apply the 80/20 rule to balance optimal solutions with realistic implementations.
Requirements
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in payment solutions, with a strong track record of bringing innovations to market.
- You have experience with integrations on the Adyen platform, including recurring payment systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work across B2B and B2C domains, ensuring solutions meet diverse business needs.
- You are knowledgeable in invoicing, reconciliation, and financial processes, especially in handling international aspects such as VAT and currency variations.
- You have a strong understanding of European and international payment regulations, including cross-border tax considerations, currencies, and compliance with emerging standards, enabling proactive adaptation to regulatory changes such as recent requirements for payment terminals.
- You possess a strong financial acumen to manage product pricing and costs in accordance with market demands and company margin targets.
- You demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking, capable of shaping and executing a comprehensive product/platform strategy aligned with Smappee's broader product vision.
- You have strong market research and analytical skills to stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- You excel in communication and collaboration abilities to build and maintain essential relationships with stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- You possess a talent for delineating and ranking product features and improvements in response to market demand and customer input.
- You have a pragmatic attitude.
- You bring solid project management skills, including the capacity to foster alignment within the organization and ensure effective cross-functional communication.
