For over 20 years, Cundall’s Australia team have been creating a ripple effect across the property sector through applying the science of sustainability to achieve market-leading firsts. Our achievements include some of the first 5 Star Green Star and 6 Star Green Star ratings in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth. Our expertise contributed to Australia’s first Living Building Challenge certification, the first carbon-neutral certified office in Western Australia and the first WELL-certified retail centres.
Cundall globally was also the first multidisciplinary consultancy to become a One Planet Living Certified company, and the first to achieve carbon neutral certification. Inventing solutions to advance progress towards net zero and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are our mission – and we collaborate across geographies, time zones, disciplines and cultures to deliver the best opportunities for our people and a better future for the planet we all call home.
If leading a small but ambitious team across the APAC region and helping clients to develop carbon inventories, net zero carbon pathways and implementation plans, sustainability strategies or IFRS, CDP, GRI and GRESB reporting to develop and meet their ESG aspirations and reporting requirements appeal to you - talk to us.
This role is required to enable the continued growth of our ESG team in the Asia-Pacific region, with a strong team and a pipeline of projects in place, ready for the right person to take the team to the next level.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated Associate/Associate Director-level expert in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) to join our Cundall team in our Australia office based in either Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney office. You will be supporting and assisting clients with the development of their ESG/sustainability and decarbonisation strategies, undertaking materiality assessments, stakeholder engagement, target setting, carbon accounting, and develop implementation and action plans.
You will lead a highly motivated and growing team of ESG sustainability and climate change specialists across Australia and the APAC region. You will work with the Project Director(s) to manage the planning, resourcing, financial performance, and training of the team to deliver on project outcomes, liaising and coordinating with the wider sustainability team. You will play a vital role in developing our existing team – sharing knowledge, assisting in training outcomes and setting a high standard for others to aspire to.
In this role, you will lead projects and receive strong support to contribute to the expansion of our portfolio. As a project manager, you will oversee projects within our Australian offices and collaborate with our broader global sustainability team. Direct support for this role will be provided by a local Director who will collaborate closely with you as an Associate to ensure the achievement of desired outcome and to facilitate your professional growth and contribute to the overall success of our team.
