What will I be doing?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and accomplished Product Marketing leader with 10 + years of experience to shape the voice of the Kaluza - an advanced technology SaaS solution for energy transformation. As a member of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT) the Director/ Head of Product Marketing at Kaluza is a driving force for Kaluza’s commercial efforts across the globe. In this newly created role, you will lead a small but mighty team including a Strategic Product Marketing Lead and three Product Marketing Managers
- Evolve Product Marketing to become a Centre of Excellence for crisp, differentiated and bold product marketing messaging, positioning and storytelling
- Build a forensic understanding of Kaluza’s product, target markets, buyer personas and competition and leverage this deep knowledge to evolve Kaluza’s product marketing narratives for a range of target audiences
- Work closely with the VPs and Directors of Product to crispen Kaluza’s differentiation across our portfolio of proposition; contribute to market-driven product strategy decisions
- With your team, launch and own a library of winning commercial enablement packs that represent the latest differentiated view on Kaluza’s products
- Collaborate closely with Product Marketing Managers and Deal Leads on the development of win themes tailored to each prospect and market
- Lead a small but mighty team of Product Marketing Managers / Leads. Champion Product Marketing craft excellence - mentor, coach, develop and inspire your team to improve their craft and deliver strategic value for Kaluza, globally
- Key member of the Marketing leadership team; co-deputize when the VP of Communications and Marketing is on leave
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Growth, Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product Design to design, launch and measure campaigns that drive strategic business outcomes at pace and scale, globally
- Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to develop and evolve global go-to-market plans
- Act an authoritative voice on positioning and messaging across the business - offer strategic counsel on win themes
- Provide strategic and operational support to the VP of Communications and Marketing; apply strategic, long-term thinking to the challenges and opportunities facing the Marketing team. Identify, anticipate and proactively remove barriers; design and recommend more effective processes and ways of working
About You
In order to set you up for success as Head of Sustainability at Kaluza, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Extensive and in-depth experience in Product Marketing or another relevant marketing/communications/product discipline at the forefront of B2B Tech
- A talented storyteller with the ability to distill complex products and concepts and create clear, simple, and impactful product stories for a wide range of stakeholders; excellent writing and more than a slight obsession with language is key
- Commercially savvy with high numerical literacy and ability to ‘speak’ P&L
- Driven self-starter with a laser focus on results
- Ability to operate at all levels: strategic thinking coupled with a focus on the execution and details
- Data-driven and ROI mentality to setting priorities and prioritising tasks
- Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-moving, dynamic and rapidly changing environments
- Confident, self-motivated individual with a demonstrable bias for action
- A strong sense of urgency and ownership
- Experience inspiring, leading and motivating teams to deliver their best work
- Strong team player with a passion for knowledge sharing
- Highly adaptable individual who feels comfortable making decisions with incomplete information
- Experience in the Product Development and Launch Cycle: Has experience in effectively collaborating with Product & Engineering teams
- Naturally curious and keen to learn - your critical thinking skills and thirst for knowledge enable you to assess future needs and think multiple steps ahead
- Experience in a B2B SaaS environment and with large enterprise sales
