The position is available from January 2025.
Comprehensive overview of finance: You’ll get hands-on experience across the entire finance spectrum, from accounting to controlling and budgeting, ensuring you learn every aspect of the department.
Collaboration with key stakeholders: Work closely with our accounting and finance management teams, to support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
Contribution to controlling development: Assist in the development of sales, production, and human resources controlling in close cooperation with the respective teams.
Supporting financial forecasting: Take on a supportive role in preparing long-term budgets, as well as medium- and short-term operational forecasts.
Assisting with stakeholder inquiries: Help address regular and ad-hoc inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and support.
Driving process optimization: Help improve our finance, planning, and controlling processes while contributing to the automation and optimization of these workflows. #YouDriveAutomation
This is how you and your application stand out
Academic background: Basic finance and accounting knowledge, currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's study such as in finance, accounting, financial engineering, business analytics, or a related field. You are still enrolled as a student for at least one year.
Practical experience: You have some initial experience in financial accounting (HGB/IFRS) or management accounting (reporting and budgeting), either through studies, projects or work experience. While not a requirement, experience from a Big Four is valued.
Data analysis skills: Familiarity with Big Data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus but not mandatory.
Tech proficiency: You are comfortable using the MS Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) such as Google products.
Key strengths: You’re an absolute team player with a GetShitDone mentality, enjoying cross-team collaboration. Furthermore you stand out for your analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and keen attention to detail.
Language skills: Fluency in English is essential, while German is a plus.
