  Position Summary

 

We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn individual to join our Program Management team as an Operations Program Manager Intern. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and ramp-up of production for our cutting-edge thermal battery technology. This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience working with a passionate team across Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to support critical design cut-ins while scaling production simultaneously.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the effort to ensure all products being produced match the latest BOM design, and ensuring off-nominal builds are being executed on time and without impact to production goals.
  • Work with Production Planning, Supply Chain, Production, and Design to ensure upcoming design changes are rolled into production in a predictable and planned manner, capturing analysis of changes including obsolescence costs and rework efforts needed. 
  • Support the development and implementation of production schedules and trial plans.
  • Help coordinate cross-functional communication between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Participate in supplier quality management activities, such as assisting with audits and documenting corrective actions.
  • Plan, execute and evaluate production line trials and critical validation builds.
 Key Qualifications

 

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in engineering, supply chain management, operations, or a related technical field.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • A self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.
 Additional Qualifications Desired

 

  • Familiarity with quality assurance practices or process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Coursework or project experience in manufacturing or supply chain topics.
  • Experience leading new hardware builds in an academic or internship environment.

 

Work Location:  Onsite - San Jose, CA

Internship Date: January - May 2025

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours

Salary Range:  $35 - $45

Salary Basis:  Hourly
