We’re helping the masses to join the electric driving revolution and we need your help. We make it totally hassle free to switch to electric driving by giving customers the whole EV package. Car, charging, energy. The lot. 

We are looking for a brilliant B2B CRM Manager to help us grow our EV business by leading on all B2B email outreach campaigns to prospective B2B customers to drive growth via our EV salary sacrifice proposition.


What you'll do

  • Collaborate with Business Development team to optimise contact strategies to engage, and re-engage, prospects across marketing and sales communications
  • Segment audiences and come up with novel, data and insight-led content strategies to engage them 
  • Build one off campaigns and nurture journeys to improve conversion
  • Take a test and learn approach to optimise all communications and share learnings across marketing and with the wider team at Octopus EV Brief copywriters, sub-edit and ensure all content is on brand and aligns to customer wants and needs - you’ll also need to be confident writing copy yourself
  • Review existing journeys and make recommendations to improve their performance 
  • Ensure all campaigns are measured using appropriate KPIs and report on performance 
  • Keep abreast of B2B CRM best practice and share external performance benchmarks with the team to make sure we’re upping our game
  • This is an individual contributor role right now, that may change in the future

What you'll need

  • CRM experience:  minimum 2-4 years experience in B2B email marketing 
  • Technical expertise: proficiency in using marketing automation tools and linking datasets across platforms, Zapier and HTML skills a bonus  
  • Embrace failure: You’ll need to have a test and learn mindset, knowing that some of your tests won’t be successful. But if you’re not testing then we’re not learning.
  • Excellent communication skills: you need to write compelling briefs for copywriters to respond to and sub-edit content, and on occasion write copy from scratch 
  • Growth mindset: inquisitive and curious, with a focus on building positive feedback loops to continuously improve marketing campaigns
  • Ability to prioritise: and think critically - there’s always a lot going on and loads of cool things we could do. You need to be able to decipher which tasks we should do 
  • A data-driven approach: data should drive everything you do to make sure every piece of communication 
  • Self-starter: eager to learn and thrive in a high-challenge, high-support and fast paced environment, along with strong project management skills
