Responsibilities

Role Overview

The Sales and CPQ ERP Business Relationship Manager will drive business performance by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve processes, efficiency, and profitability. This role requires a combination of business acumen, technical analysis, and communication skills.

We’re in a total transformation and restructuring mode as we implement Infor LN, and we’ll look to you to help us navigate change and gain trust and buy-in from the end users in the IT and the Sales / CPQ business departments.

Role Specifics

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. More specifically, your essential duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Be part of an internal ERP modernization team that is currently implementing Infor LN
  • Participate in ERP implementation projects, working closely with cross-functional business teams
  • Serve as a process expert to act as a bridge between Infor’s LN functionalities and ERMCO business processes
  • Participate in prototyping, testing, and implementing new LN functionality to enhance business processes
  • Take the opportunity to learn about the software capabilities of Infor LN and build core knowledge regarding software configuration through both internal and external training
  • Provide daily support for accounting functions within Infor LN, Sales and CPQ modules, ensuring accurate product configurations, pricing, and quoting functionality
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to update product configurations and align CPQ options with production capabilities
  • Facilitate the implementation of new business processes, configure systems, and ensure that changes align with business goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with other functional analysts to ensure accounting data consistency across modules

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. To be a good fit for this opportunity you will also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in ERP systems focused on Sales or Configure, Price, Quote.
  • Experience in sales or sales support role(s) is highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of configure, price, quote processes and sales order management.
  • Experience with Infor LN (BAAN) or other major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.)
  • Experience meeting with internal clients to understand needs and design solutions, building and executing project plans leading to on-time, on-budget implementations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to various audiences.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A service-oriented work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

You’ll need to have your finger on the pulse of our new system in order to stay up-to-date on current trends and ensure we are leveraging best-in-class infrastructure, rules, processes and configurations.
