In this role, you will be providing leadership to the team and facilitating the distribution process to ensure the achievement of quality, housekeeping, and safety objectives. You will assist in the continued development of a high-performance work team with ongoing coaching and direction, both formal and informal.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Leads Team Members in the performance of distribution processes.

  • Assures Team Member awareness and compliance to distribution process instructions, ISO Standards and JLG Quality System Procedures, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS Requirements).

  • Assigning specific tasks, as required, to ensure the most cost-effective and productive use of the Team Members' time.

  • Ensures that tools and materials essential for the performance of the work are readily available.

  • Responsible for all Team Members' performance by providing training, guidance, and timely feedback through day-to-day feedback and periodic performance appraisals.

  • Establishes and facilitates small group team initiatives for continuous improvement.

  • Maintains comprehensive records to document the performance of his/her area of responsibility.

  • Evaluating the optimum processes, standards, equipment, tools, flow, and facilities required to distribute products. 

  • Conducts root-cause analyses of the distribution process to identify, define and resolve distribution problems and opportunities. 

  • Enlisting the requisite support (I.E., M.E., etc.) to ensure the timely resolution of problems and the prompt implementation of improvements.

  • Audits standards and identifies opportunities for improvements in all aspects of distribution.

  • Provides input for strategic planning regarding distribution initiatives.

  • Responsible for other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1-plus year of practical experience working in a distribution/warehouse setting

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS 

  • An associate degree in a related field

  • Previous supervisory/lead experience in distribution setting or equivalent

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
