Your Roles
Regional Representation and Strategy: you are in charge of the regional representation of Planet2050 in South-East Asia and participate in the development of a dedicated strategy taking into account regional dynamics, market demand and policies. As such, you act as the key point of contact for both internal teams and external partners and represent the company in regional industry events and forums.
Carbon Market Development: you develop relationships with businesses, governments, and organizations involved in carbon reduction and removal initiatives in the region.
Project Origination & Development: you lead the identification, sourcing and development of climate projects from inception to completion, together with international or local project development partners and implementers, ensuring alignment with Planet2050’s goals and quality policies. You advise on standards, methodologies, ensure applicability, support documentation, identify risks for proper design and completion of projects.
Internal contribution: you contribute to the overall development of Planet2050 by advising on global strategy, product development, standard procedures, approach to project developers, due diligence frameworks, etc..
Team and Office development: you oversee the profit and loss (P&L) management of your regional office, ensuring financial health, and operational efficiency. You assess staffing needs, recruit top talent, and build a high-performing team aligned with your objectives.
Your Profile:
At least 5 years of experience in the sustainability and carbon market.
You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field related to nature- or engineered- based carbon projects. This can encompass fields of studies in International Business, Political, Environmental or Engineering Sciences.
You possess excellent oral and written skills in English.
