Description

Overview: Endera is in search of a Manufacturing Engineer to join its expanding, dynamic EV launch team to bring our medium duty electric vehicles from prototype to production.

 

Each team member at Endera is given responsibilities and challenging tasks that will elevate today鈥檚 level of electric vehicle technology. The candidate must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, enjoy problem solving independently and in team environments.

 

General Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement solutions to improve productivity and quality  
  • Lead Continuous Improvement efforts to improve production line throughput
  • Work as the liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams
  • Create efficient manufacturing processes, design test methods, and establish quality control guidelines
  • Develop Job Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes to improve throughput and efficiency
  • Assist Process and Quality teams in developing, organizing and optimizing facility layouts and improving workflow and resources
  • Design, test, and implement tooling and equipment for improvement in the assembly of parts and components on vehicles

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring overall goals and objectives are met
  • Experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other mechanical design software desired
  • Ability to lead and work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Desire to be hands on and work closely with mechanics, assemblers and other key team members
  •  

Education and Experience:

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering desired
  • Minimum 3-5 years in manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Process Engineering or Lean Manufacturing is desired
  • Hand on experience working in automotive or agricultural fields is desired
