Our mission at Base is to fix the power grid and enable affordable and reliable electricity for all. To do that, we are building America’s Next-Generation Power Company; the first engineering-led, technology-focused, R&D-driven electricity company. We are a team of tenacious engineers, operators, and creatives who have solved hard problems and are here to do it again.

On the Base Inside Sales Team, you will build out our first customer touchpoint. You will be responsible for talking directly to consumers to enable growth target. You will also help improve training, operations, and the feedback loop to the business. You will report to the head of growth and work closely with marketing, operations, and engineering teams to ensure we are onboarding happy customers efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with and sell directly to homeowners.
  • Build strong customer relationships with best-in-class service.
  • Track and analyze sales activities using Hubspot and dashboards.
  • Optimize sales operations and overall team performance.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in inside sales or related field.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with technology sales and CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot).

Preferred Skills:

  • Analytical and operational skills to improve sales processes.
  • Leadership experience in a sales team.
  • Biz Dev and Partnerships experience.
  • Direct to Homeowner Sales experience.
  • Customer Support and Marketing experience.
