We’re expanding our Monitoring team here at Octopus Energy ECO responsible for managing Octopus Energy’s ECO and GBIS Obligation. We’re looking for a Monitoring Support Specialist to join our Compliance Team. An exciting opportunity for anyone looking to expand their knowledge in obligations space! 🐙
We are flexible with the location for this role, as we have multiple office locations to choose from such as Nottingham, Newton Aycliffe and Coventry.
Here at Octopus Energy ECO, we’re responsible for delivering the government mandated ECO scheme. We are passionate about helping vulnerable customers of lower-income by improving the insulation in their homes, to help reduce their bills and carbon emissions. We work with an internal and external supply chain insulating customer homes across the UK within the compliance rules of the ECO scheme.
What you'll do
- Assess data and photos for key risks in technical installation quality
- Collating and reporting on data findings
- Communicating with external partners results and answering questions
- Comprehend regulator issued monitoring results to build reporting on installer effectiveness
- Communicate with installers on monitoring requirements
- Support new installers in understanding monitoring processes
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with Installers
- Audit Submissions to in-house to monitoring compliance goals
- Support the monitoring departments goals in reference to regulatory compliance
What you'll need
- Experience working for an installation company or within the environment previously
- An understanding of one or more of the following areas installation practices:
- Loft, Cavity, Solid Wall, Boiler Installation or Heating Installation
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to learn detailed monitoring and compliance rules
- Ability to deliver data transparently
- Experienced in Google Sheets
- Self-motivation to thrive working in hybrid setting in one of our lovely offices
