Responsibilities:
- Produce lab batches of grease and oil to support new product development
- Complete testing on samples as required to ensure products meet customer requirements
- Keep organized and detailed records of laboratory work, using laboratory notebooks and SAP software
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment
- Complete lubricant training as required (may involve travel)
- Preparation of scientific reports based on laboratory work
- Occasional formal and informal presentations to Klüber colleagues, management and/or customers
Qualifications:
- BS in Chemistry
- 0 - 2 yrs. experience in an industrial R&D environment
- Ability to learn and operate a wide variety of laboratory test equipment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and take on additional duties as necessary
