Sunwealth offices are located in Cambridge’s Porter Square and New York City’s Financial District. We work on a hybrid schedule, ideally three (3) days per week in one of these offices.

 

The Investor Development Associate will play a key role in helping to manage an existing pipeline of current investors, as well as building and managing a portfolio of new investors to help secure our annual capital raise target of ~$200 million.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•    Support the Senior Manager of Investor Development with investor development and through every stage of the sales process
•    Support new market research and development opportunities, with a focus on debt and tax equity for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, banks and corporations
•    Help develop and strengthen relationships with key partners and investor prospects
•    Coordinate and track investor pipeline from acquisition phase through closing
•    Perform financial analysis, due diligence and development tasks
•    Support all aspects of the investor development operation
•    Coordinate cross-functionally with the team


DESIRED TRAITS/QUALIFICATIONS


•    0-2 years’ experience in investor/client development. Experience with tax credits and/or renewable energy industry preferred but not required
•    Well-developed relationship management skills, strong communication and presentation skills
•    Ability to work independently and within a team environment to help grow and manage a sophisticated and diverse pipeline of capital providers and centers of influence
•    Proficient with Salesforce and all MS Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
•    Quick learner with strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
•    Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
•    Team player who recognizes learning opportunities and is willing to understand the legal, regulatory and financial perspectives of debt and tax equity investing
