AECOM’s Environmental & Ecological Planning team (EEP) investigate, plan and manage ecological resources. We are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant specializing in Ecology to join our team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will lead and contribute to a wide range of projects: conducting baseline research and surveys, identifying ecological impacts and required mitigation measures for development projects, planning biodiversity conservation and enhancement works, and designing Nature-based Solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee ecological surveys, habitat assessments, and biodiversity studies
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies
- Provide technical input to projects and proposals
- Analyze and interpret complex ecological data using advanced statistical methods
- Provide guidance and review for junior staff
- Participate in client and regulator meetings
- Becoming certified as an AECOM Project Manager, ensuring quality management measures are planned and implemented
