Responsibilities:

• Technical expert for all automation/electrical projects – both internally and externally.

• Drive production automation projects – bringing latest technology into factory.

• Host project meetings on regular basis with project teams and managers.

• Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness.

• Coordinate project needs with vendors and suppliers.

• Development of outside automation resources and contractors.

• Provide feedback, advice, project updates, and encouragement to project team members.

• Communicate promptly with all relevant stakeholders if timeline or cost associated with project deviates from approved plan.

• Provide engineering expertise and support to production site as required.

• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) preferred.

• Relevant experience installing automated systems as a lead technical project manager.

• Experience executing projects in a matrix environment.

• Expertise in evaluation of automation concepts and integration strategies.

• Strong knowledge in robots, vision systems, and automation integration management. Experience with FANUC preferred. Ability to deploy Robots and program for flexibility.

• Adept at establishing communication and control between various manufacturing equipment.

• Knowledgeable in Vision systems, HMIs and material transfer systems.

• Familiarity with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD, as well as MS Suite.

• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

• Ability to travel (may include Global) approximately 10%.
