About The Role
The Head of CO2 Sourcing will be responsible for leading CO2 sourcing for 44.01’projects globally, with an initial priority on projects in the UAE and Oman.This involves developing and executing carbon capture and other CO2 projects as well as identifying existing sources of CO2 in the market.

The successful candidate is a strategic and execution-focused leader who thinks out of the box to solve problems and perseveres to get the job done.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and implement strategies to source CO2 from various emitters globally for current and future sinks.
  • Identify and close opportunities to source waste CO2, working with stakeholders, such as heavy industry and waste management companies.
  • Negotiate and secure CO2 from industrial emitters, including steel, cement, and ammonia producers etc.
  • Negotiate and execute commercial contracts including CO2 offtake
    agreements.
  • Drive negotiations to closure, ensuring terms are favourable and aligned with 44.01’s commercial objectives.
  • Oversee project conceptualisation, structuring, and vendor selection 
  • Assist with CO2 logistics and transportation.
  • Set and assure quality control for all CO2 streams being received at 44.01’s sinks.
  • Travel frequently to engage with partners, build long-term relationships, attend industry events, and explore new opportunities.
Who You Are
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, project development, business development or similar field.
  • Understanding of CO2 or industrial gas supply chains and CO2 capture.
  • Experience negotiating commercial contracts with multi-layered government and private entities.
  • Proven track record of closing complex deals and managing key accounts.
  • Strong negotiation, deal-making skills, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced
    environment.
  •  Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet partners and stakeholders.
  • Nice to have (but not essential): Experience working with CO2 producers.
