We are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer specializing in power electronics
Role/Duties:
- Develop new products and variants using new technologies.
- Drive resolution of technical issues.
- Work in cross-functional teams of hardware, firmware, test automation, and mechanical engineers.
- Specify, design, verify, and debug complex circuits for our microinverters and other products.
- Assist product compliance engineers to achieve global certifications for our products.
- Specify engineering requirements, assist with test plan creation, and investigate test failures.
- Provide technical guidance to manufacturing and field application engineers.
- Report significant developments to stakeholders.
Qualification and Previous Experience:
- B.E and 8+ years of experience in a related role
- Masters and 3+ years of experience in a related role
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must have:
- Digital hardware design including interfacing, MCUs, PSUs including SMPS.
- Real-world experience in developing electronic products from concept through to market launch.
- Knowledge of circuit schematic, PCB layout, and simulation tools.
- Practical experience in testing and debugging hardware using oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
What would make you stand out? Strengths in one or more of these areas:
- Some experience using C and/or Python.
- High-volume product development experience.
- Understanding and application of EMC design principles.
- Knowledge of relevant Standards or Compliance Testing.
