Your mission

Being a Distribution Technical Sales Engineer is an exciting task, since you are the superhero our clients need. You know what setup of our solutions will satisfy their needs, therefore, these here are your most important tasks:

  • Technical and hands-on training to Sungrow distributors and installers.
  • Point of contact for technical questions and 1st level for pre-sales support.
  • Preparation of technical presentation and documentation.
  • Execute training programs for existing and prospective installers and distributors in order to educate them about our solutions, their unique features and the Sungrow value proposition.
  • Manage and organize showrooms.
  • Evaluation of certification requirements and supervision of test and certification processes.
  • Regular market analysis and monitoring of market and regulation developments.
  • Benchmarking of our products against competition.
  • Customer visit.
Your profile
All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have:
 
  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, electrical & electronical engineering or a similar background.
  • Alternatively: A higher education qualification or business related studies with technical counterparts.
  • In the end, if you have dealt with the renewable energy industry for ~ 2years, you are fit for this opportunity. 
 
Anyway, besides that, it would be amazing if you think of yourself like this:
 
  • Ability to work independently and focused in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion, desire and motivation to succeed.
  • Fluent English (min. B2) and Greek (C1) skills are mandatory. You will need to communicate daily with English speaking team. 
  • Quick learner with desire to increase knowledge in the clean-tech industry.
  • Attention to details. You're able to dive into the details and connect them through to the big picture of delivering an exceptional and brand-aligned experience.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office. 
  • Travelling several times per year (roadshows, expositions etc.) Mainly in Southeastern Europe region.
  • Valid driving license is an advantage.
