Job Description

About the Opportunity:  

We are excited to announce that Acciona has been awarded a major wharf infrastructure project at Port Hedland for Pilbara Ports Authority. This marks the first stage in the development of the Lumsden Point General Cargo Facility and Logistics Hub (LCGF), a transformative multi-user facility designed to:

  • Enable the export of critical minerals.
  • Support the import of renewable energy infrastructure.
  • Facilitate the import/export of general cargo.
  • Accommodate the import of bulk liquids such as fuel and chemicals.

To help us deliver this project, we are looking for several administrative staff to join our site team at Lumsden Point. These roles are primarily focused around providing high quality administrative support to the wider project team in a timely and efficient manner. We would very much like to hear from any Port Hedland local residents who are interested in the construction industry.

Key accountabilities for the position: 

  • Manage travel, accommodation requirements for the rostered project team.
  • Provide onboarding support and customer service in all day-to-day administrative support related activities.
  • Collate and submit weekly timesheets for the team and liaise with payroll on any discrepancies Entry of data into online systems.
  • Procurement of site supplies and coordinate logistics.
  • Project administrative reporting and support to the onsite project team.
  • Raising Purchase Orders, Receipting in goods and invoices.
  • Ensure administration, document control, filing system, records are effectively managed and organised. 

Required Skills and Competencies

  • At least 2 years of experience as an administrator or similar.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to maintain effective communication with all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of desktop applications.
  • Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle.
