Overview: Endera is actively seeking a motivated full-time Electrical Technician for our manufacturing facility in Ottawa, Ohio. Under the general supervision of the Director of Engineering, the Electrical Technician performs all the tasks required to support Research & Development and Manufacturing activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Electrical Engineering support for Manufacturing Operations in revisions to current designs for parts, assemblies, and vehicles
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for the electrical department to improve overall throughput and efficiencies
- Assist in the development of new designs and prototype parts, assemblies for current and new vehicles
General Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Read and understand engineering blueprints and schematics
- Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist in training Production Associates on the installation and assembly of new parts, designs, and components
- Troubleshoot electrical issues to determine root cause and make needed repairs
- Maintain high quality standards and workmanship
- Communicate clearly and effectively with individuals and groups, internally and externally
- Perform other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient work environment with cross-functional teams
- Perform general maintenance activities throughout the facility including electrical installations and repairs

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Two-year degree in electrical technologies or five years experience
- Must be able to read, learn, understand, and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics to complete the fabrication and/or assembly of products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards
- Must be able to verify material and assembly components to set up job
- Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools
- Must be able to use simple/basic math, and basic hand-held measuring tools
- Previous experience, knowledge, and/or education in automotive repairs is a plus
- Experience in electrical installation and troubleshooting required
- Experience in light fabrication welding required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
