Paid Marketing Manager

This role is responsible for the full-funnel paid marketing across all European markets for Lucid, including the creation and  implementation of the European paid media strategy, measurement, optimization and reporting of all campaigns from brand through to performance.You will be responsible for developing  and executing the paid media strategy for our European brand campaigns, to drive awareness of the Lucid brand across our core European markets.  You will also have day-to-day responsibility of our paid digital campaigns, including search, display and social, for both B2C and B2B audience groups. You will constantly monitor our paid activity, working with our media agency partners to optimize our investment to drive efficiency and reduce our spend per conversion. Finally, you will be responsible for measurement and reporting across all paid media channels, providing detailed reports as well as forecasting future performance and requirements to achieve commercial objectives.Working with our Manager of Brand Communications and Brand Manager, you will devise and implement high-impact campaigns with a focus on innovation and creativity.  Maximising our investment and prioritizing high-performing channels for maximum impact

Specific role:

  • Developing, executing, and optimizing our paid media strategy to deliver on end-to-end commercial and marketing objectives as defined by the Director, Marketing and the Manager, Brand Communications
  • Overseeing and managing the overall budget for paid media
  • Daily management of our Media Agency partners including briefing and reporting, reconciliation, budget management and planning
  • Optimize campaign performance from brand to performance, maximizing ROI through data-driven insights, continuous optimization, and A/B testing
  • Working with the Lucid Brand Manager to create high-impact campaigns from conception to launch
  • Working cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals across the organization
  • Providing ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders
  • Building out media buys for various ad platforms and overseeing the day-to-day execution of paid media with a focus on optimization and ROI
  • Supporting the gathering of relevant research to support audience targeting, particularly for new models
  • Supporting our Regional Marketing Teams with the creation of market-specific media strategies, optimized for specific market requirements
  • Staying ahead of industry trends by integrating the latest best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovative, high-performance campaigns 

Paid Marketing Manager requirements and qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Paid Media related role, including digital/programmatic media. Agency experience is a plus.
  • A proven track record of successful paid marketing campaigns across touchpoints. In automotive or similar industry with a complex consumer journey
  • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more), and content distribution and placement networks
  • Hands-on experience in handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results
  • Agency management experience, including the management of a multi-million Euro media budget
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strategic thinker with great analytical skills
  • Eager to learn and flexible to adapt is key in a dynamic environment.
