Leading the future in luxury electric and mobility
At Lucid, we set out to introduce the most captivating, luxury electric vehicles that elevate the human experience and transcend the perceived limitations of space, performance, and intelligence. Vehicles that are intuitive, liberating, and designed for the future of mobility.

We plan to lead in this new era of luxury electric by returning to the fundamentals of great design – where every decision we make is in service of the individual and environment. Because when you are no longer bound by convention, you are free to define your own experience.

Come work alongside some of the most accomplished minds in the industry. Beyond providing competitive salaries, we’re providing a community for innovators who want to make an immediate and significant impact. If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sr. SAP Specialist to join our growing team at Lucid, a forward-thinking electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their SAP expertise and contribute to the optimization of business systems in the EV industry. In this role, you will support the Supply Chain and Procurement teams by undertaking SAP-related tasks, creating training modules, running and presenting reports, and maintaining data integrity across the organization.

You Will:

  • SAP Support: Assist with the daily support of SAP systems by addressing basic user issues, troubleshooting common problems, and escalating more complex issues to senior team members.
  • Data Entry System for Global Supply Managers (GSMs): Develop a system where GSMs can submit information that the SAP Coordinator can use to create/modify: Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Purchase Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, etc.
  • Data Reports: Create, run, and maintain various supply chain-related reports that can be presented to executive leadership (Power BI a plus), including but not limited to:
    • Slow or non-moving inventory reports
    • Shortage and surplus reports
  • User Training: Help develop and improve training materials and provide basic training sessions for end users to help them navigate SAP systems.
  • Maintaining Data Integrity: Cross-check Lucid’s internal Plan For Every Part (PFEP) with data pulled from SAP. Work with the supply chain team to mark parts as obsolete once new revisions are available. Work alongside the PLM team to assure proper part numbers and revisions are called out in BOMs.

You Bring:

  • Ownership and One-Team Mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with SAP systems in a manufacturing, automotive, or technology-driven environment.
  • Any exposure to the electric vehicle industry or manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of SAP functionality and its use in business processes.
  • Familiarity with business software tools and systems is an advantage.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in SAP.
  • Ability to program manage. This role will support 20+ experienced professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to process improvements.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Please Note:

  • This position is full-time onsite Monday-Friday in our Southfield Michigan location and does not offer a remote or hybrid option.
  • This role may be required to work in alignment with our west coast office hours, 10:30 am - 7:30 pm EST in the office.
