Position Summary 

Implements and coordinates Scout's whistleblower program and investigation processes in alignment with Volkswagen (VW) Group standards, while developing topic owner capabilities across the organization. This role ensures effective local execution of Group frameworks while maintaining appropriate coordination across functions and escalation protocols. 

Key Areas of Responsibility 

  • Implement and execute Whistleblower Program requirements and local protocols, while maintaining program documentation. 
  • Coordinate and execute on internal investigations, while liaising with topic owners on specialized matters, manage investigation tracking and documentation and ensure consistency with investigation processes.  
  • Act as topic owner for support & development in investigation templates, protocols, and processes. 
  • Ensure cross-functional support through standard coordination procedures, maintaining investigation templates and tools, and develop and implement relevant training materials with input from VW Group compliance content. 
  • Ensure Compliance Program maintenance through tracking of program metrics, local documentation, monitor process adherence and identify local implementation needs. 

 

Location & Travel Expectations: 

  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC or Novi, Michigan. 
  • 3-4 days per week in office required 
  • Travel: Up to 25% of travel is expected 
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred 
  • 7+ years of relevant experience 
  • Strong understanding of VW Group compliance frameworks 
  • Experience in case management 
  • Excellent coordination skills 
  • Superior documentation abilities 
  • Strong analytical capabilities 
  • Diplomatic communication style 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Experience with sensitive matters
