Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for purchasing product groups, projects and suppliers
• You will independently carry out procurement activities, tenders, contract negotiations, the conclusion of contracts and supplier development
• Your responsibilities include data analysis with the Spend Analytics tool as well as the derivation, management and implementation of procurement activities (goods & services and also investment projects in cooperation with the specialist departments)
• You will be involved in the development and implementation of the purchasing strategy for the procurement volumes of the corporate units
• Ensuring the implementation of purchasing strategies (e.g. supplier changes, standardization, bundling)
• You will also work together with the purchasing departments of the business groups
• You support the implementation of projects and their roll-out

Qualifications:

• You have a degree with a focus on purchasing or a comparable education
• You have several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in an industrial company
• You are convincing through successful negotiation management, especially in long-term customer and supplier relationships
• You have knowledge of industry-standard contracts and experience in drafting contracts
• You have also taken the lead in international projects in addition to working on them
• You are characterized by a high degree of independence and strong analytical skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Fluency in German and English is a matter of course for you
