Job Summary:
The Elite/Lead Field Service Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role works with more advanced and multi/complex systems, proactively troubleshoots systems, works with mechanical process of hydraulic systems or water treatment equipment, electrical, control, conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory, and anticipates and corrects safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer and may be responsible for work in multiple systems/locations/customers. This role is responsible for the escalation and leveraging appropriate company resources to address issues, both with personnel and customers.

  • Some travel required
  • 20%-80% travel depending on division & location (overnight stays, away from home)

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Capable of obtaining a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements


Preferred:

  • Technical military background
  • Tech Cert, Degree or industry specific license(s)


Experience Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
  • Work experience preferred
  • 5 to 7 years of plumbing and technical work experience


Skill Requirements:

  • Mechanical process of hydraulic systems or water treatment equipment, electrical, mechanical, fusion experience depending on business unit
  • Work without direct supervision and provides coaching/training to junior-level technicians
  • Technically sound
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices
  • Must have customer service experience
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
  • Synthesizes technical information and communicates it clearly
  • Derives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve problems often in novel and unexpected ways
