About Us 🚀

4WARD is building the bridge between sustainability education and careers. We empower climate-focused professionals and connect them with organizations driving environmental innovation.

As an Engagement Volunteer, you will help with community activation and engagement strategy across our digital platform (Circle) and work closely with city leads to convert event attendees into active online members. You’ll get to create and optimize engagement initiatives that make participation valuable, effortless, and rewarding for members.

Volunteer Goals 💪

• Increase meaningful interactions within the global digital community (currently on Circle), ensuring members see value in the community

• Build and manage community rituals, like weekly topics, spotlight features, or networking initiatives; Identify high-engagement members and empower them as micro-community leaders.

• Analyze member participation trends and refine tactics to boost retention and quality of discussions.

• Work with city leads to convert offline attendees into digital community members—ensuring seamless transition and ongoing participation.

• Provide regular reports and insights to optimize community-building efforts.

Helpful Skills & Experience 🌟

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Community-first mindset—you love creating spaces where people connect, share, and grow.

• Experience managing and scaling digital communities, preferably on Circle, Slack, Discord, or other platforms.

• Data-driven and creative, capable of experimenting and optimizing based on insights.
