Leader in the AgriPV market in France, Technique Solaire is a French independent producer of solar electricity founded in 2008. In 2024, Technique Solaire represents more than 260 employees and an expected annual turnover of 240 million euros. We are experts in developing, building and operating solar projects. We own and operate c. 600 MWp of assets in France and India and have more than 2.5 GWp of projects in construction and development.

The company expanded internationally in India (2014), the Netherlands (2018) and Spain in 2022. In the Netherlands, we already operate about 23 MWC and we are about to launch the construction of c. 11 MWc. We are also developing a portfolio of projects including various technologies and we aim to expand our activities. Our target is to have 200 MWp of operational projects in the country by the end of 2030.

We are seeking skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our business development team in the Netherlands. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for executing the strategic growth of the local subsidiary. Your main objective will be to develop and execute projects development, expand market presence, and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.

The position is located in Utrecht, from where you frequently travel throughout the Netherlands. You will report directly to the Country Director. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement a “go-to-market” plan in order to reach strategic goals, aligned with the overall corporate objectives.
  • Act as representative with landowners, municipalities, DSO/TSO, RVO and potential utilities/corporate offtakers.
  • Execute development efforts for greenfield projects, including identifying and pursuing new projects, partnerships, and collaborations within the renewable energies sector.
  • Oversee the day-to-day development of the projects in the Netherlands.

Your qualifications:
  • Proven experience (at least 3-5 years) in a business development role within the solar PV energies sector in the Netherlands.
  • Strong knowledge of the permitting requirements, including municipalities, environment, connection, SDE/PPA energy market commercialization.
  • Commercial incumbent and negotiation skills, with the ability to discuss with various stakeholders while regularly liaising with management.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and verbal. French is a nice-to-have.
